GLoot · Godot inventory
Godot inventory add-on for item stacks, slots and grid or weight limits.
Make it yours
- Start with two item prototypes, then test stack limits, transferring items and full-inventory failure before adding more loot.
- Keep the MIT notice. Inventory serialization still needs your save layer, migration and reload tests in the matching Godot version.
Try one change first; integration and visual fit still need testing. Licensing summary, not legal advice. Before publishing or selling, check the creator's linked licence for your exact download, plan and intended use. Terms and restrictions may differ.
What’s inside
- Item stacks and JSON item prototypes
- Inventory operations with grid, weight or item-count constraints
- Equipment slots, basic UI controls and inventory-state serialization
Best for
- Godot RPG or survival inventories
- Item slots, loot and equipment prototypes
How it can improve your game
- Reuse inventory rules and item-stack handling instead of writing them from scratch.

Limitations & compatibility
- Godot-only add-on; not a Unity, GameMaker, Unreal or portable JavaScript inventory.
- Version 3 changes are not backwards-compatible with 2.x. Use the matching migration documentation.
- Serialization supplies inventory state, not disk/cloud persistence, authentication, conflict handling or a complete save system.
- Basic UI still needs your artwork, game rules and accessibility work. Native import/export/runtime and integration with other add-ons are untested.
