# Coin Dash 1.0 Original BINX Forge Canvas/JavaScript teaching example. No packages, external files, accounts, server or asset download required. Drawn shapes and covered example files are MIT; retain LICENSE.txt. This notice does not license third-party artwork you add later. ## Run from a clean folder Keep index.html, game.css, game.js and LICENSE.txt together. Open index.html in a current browser with Canvas, Pointer Events and requestAnimationFrame. Start game, focus the canvas and use arrow keys or W/A/S/D. Collect all six coins within 30 seconds; avoid the patrolling red triangle. Hold direction buttons for pointer/touch input. Pause/Resume or Restart. No module imports or network requests are needed, so this version can run from a local file. ## Check your result - Start: zero points, 30 seconds, blue player, six coins, one red enemy. - Move into a coin: exactly one point; it disappears. Stay there: no extra points. - Hold right into the edge: player remains in bounds. Diagonal travel has the same speed. - Hit the enemy or wait 30 seconds: game over; score no longer changes. - Collect all six: win. Restart after win/loss and repeat twice without doubled speed. - Pause then resume: no jump. Change tabs: paused, held keys cleared. - Use direction controls on your target phone; release/cancel must stop movement. Test scrolling outside the controls, portrait/landscape, zoom and keyboard focus. ## Change one thing SPEED is world pixels per second. Change 180 to 150, reload and compare. Coin coordinates are in newGame. The 640×360 simulation stays unchanged when the canvas is resized with CSS. step performs movement, bounds, patrol, collision, score and terminal states; render draws only. Keep these responsibilities separate when asking your AI for upgrades. ## Test scope The repository executes this exact shipped simulation in isolated Node tests. Browser interaction results and screenshots are recorded separately in the tutorial release evidence. Do not infer physical-device, Safari, hosting, AI-provider or assistive-technology certification from simulation tests.
